Tesla Meets Shanghai Street Art

When Tesla opened its Shanghai Delivery Center, we wanted it to be more than just a place to pick up cars; we wanted to raise awareness and position it as a cultural hub for the brand. During brainstorming, we thought a collaboration with a local street artist could not only transform the space but also show that Tesla supports and celebrates local creative talent.

That’s how we connected with SATR, a Chinese street artist with over 50K followers on Bilibili and a big Tesla fan. She was all in, and over the course of a week, she turned the Model X’s iconic falcon-wing doors into a massive eagle mural right on the center’s walls.

We documented the entire process—interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and her creative journey—and shared it across our channels and hers. The result was not just a bold, permanent mural, but a campaign that spread across social media, strengthened Tesla’s connection with the local community, and showcased the brand’s creative side.​​
